  1. These are the changes that have been made since the last version of PopDBF.

  3. Version 3.6 - Released February 7, 1990 (first commercial release)

  6.     o  Commercial version includes a program, POPCFG.COM, to configure
  7.        the hotkey.
  8.  
  9.     o  Path option from Pick File Window has been replaced by Dir option
  10.        which functions like the change directory command in DOS.  This
  11.        same option is now used to change drives just as you would in DOS.
  12.  
  13.     o  You may enter a specific file, including drive and path, by
  14.        pressing F3 from Pick File Window.
  15.  
  16.     o  Added command line option to specify default action, /A.  The
  17.        default action is taken for each file when Enter is pressed.  It
  18.        can be changed at any time by pressing F5.
  19.  
  20.     o  The frequently used database file can optionally specify the
  21.        action to be taken when the appropriate hotkey is pressed (Alt-1
  22.        thru 0).  If the file name, in POPDBF.FRQ is preceded by one of
  23.        the following letters, A B E or S AND a space the action taken
  24.        will be the same as pressing Alt and that letter.

  26.     o  Added a warning when leaving Edit or Append and changes that you
  27.        have made have not been saved.

  29.     o  Changed all prompts for input to use left and right arrow keys,
  30.        home, end, delete and insert.  CTRL-Y will always blank input
  31.        field.

  33.     o  Changed the pass-thru function so that it can be used even if
  34.        PopDBF is already loaded in memory.

  36.     o  Fixed a bug which allowed invalid months and days in date fields.
  37.  
  38.     o  Fixed a bug which zeroed numeric fields when the RETURN key was
  39.        pressed after editing a preceding date field.

  41.     o  Fixed a bug caused by insufficient video storage and occurred
  42.        when using help while editing a record.

  44.     o  Fixed the /D command line, which option did not work correctly when
  45.        no drive was specified.
